The Government will run a national bowel cancer symptom awareness campaign in England for eight weeks from the end of January 2012.
This follows a pilot campaign carried out in the South West and East of England in 2011, which encouraged people with persistent symptoms to see their GP. The campaign will use radio, press and television adverts as well as associated events and activities.
