For some weeks now, we’ve been highlighting the importance of the inaugural Scottish Integrated Healthcare Conference, which takes place at The Marriott Hotel in Glasgow 12 November, and now; thanks to our fantastic programme (which is available to view below!) you can see exactly why YOU as a Scottish healthcare professional NEED to be there!
Over the last few years, the Scottish Government has put great emphasis on the fact that services being integrated is the most effective means for achieving better outcomes, so it's vital that all those involved are brought together to discuss the best way forward. The Scottish Integrated Healthcare Conference will act as the forum for these discussions and will give all interested parties the opportunity to inform and be informed.
With only three weeks to go, seats are filling up fast. We've already signed up attendees from industry, academia and GP land, but you need to make sure that pharmacy is equally represented since, as you all know, community pharmacy is taking an increasingly important role in providing healthcare to the man on the street and, as such, you have a pivotal role to play!
